![]() Seeing as it is triggered by being hit by certain enemies (and failing a possible follow-up RNG check), your goal should be to avoid being hit by said enemies as much as possible. (c) Infection is easier to avoid when playing the meta. Using said strategy completely nullifies the benefit of the Vintner because you simply won't need much blood at all - unless you stall too long between boss missions. (b) The above also means you will have looted plenty of blood (passively) before heroes even start getting cursed. From there, it doesn't take long to prepare them for the followup Veteran missions and can easily stay 20 steps ahead of the Curse at all times. Assuming it's not a Bloodmoon save, you can stall until most (or all) heroes are on the cusp of level 3. You have infinite time to prepare the roster before you even open the Court. ![]() Opening it early puts you under much more pressure. ![]() If you're completely infected and not ready to complete a mission to wipe it, then your only option is to weather the storm until you do. Alas, the bulk of tips and preventatives are related to what you do BEFORE you reach that point (rather than during it). There is no one-stop-shop cure when you are so far behind the infection, other than to pull the trigger and kill the final boss within a main court mission as soon as possible.
